Chess Tournament.

The second round of the chess tournament begins today. The drawings for this round resulted as follows:

Every one plays one game with every other in his section. Each player must hand the results of all his games to one of the tournament committee or leave them at 25 Grays before 7 p. m., Saturday, October 31. The time-limit is 15 moves to the hour, but this may be waived by mutual consent. In all doubtful cases the rules of the Sixth American Chess Congress are to be followed; but, if any disputes arise, they are to be referred to the tournament committee. The two players making the highest score in each section will be advanced into the final round.
