The novice match, fifteen birds, was shot yesterday afternoon. The scores were: Bancroft, 12; Lunt, 10; Donaldson, 10; Cutting, 9; Perkins, 7; Lapsley, 7; Brinckerhoff, 2. Kinnicutt, Hardy, Harris, Bartol, Du Pont and Byrd practiced. The new rapid firing system worked very well, and a large number of birds were shot. Any member of the University interested in shooting may join the club either at the grounds on Soldiers Field, Monday and Thursday afternoon between 3.30 and 5 o'clock, or with the secretary, C. A. Hardy, 26 Read's block.
