At the meeting held last Thursday on the grounds of the New Jersey Athletic club at Bergen Point, to decide the Eastern amateur athletic championship of the Amateur Athletic Union, three events were run which must greatly interest Harvard. They were as follows: Two hundred and twenty yards dash-Final heat won by James P. Lee, Harvard College and New York Athletic Club, 23 1 5 seconds; C. H. Sherrill, Yale University and New York Athletic Club second by two feet.

Quarter mile run-Won by W. C. Dohm, Princeton College and New York Athletic Club in 51 3 5 seconds: W. C. Downes, Harvard, second.

Half-mile run-Won by W. C. Downes, Harvard, In 2 minutes 3 2 5 seconds; Stewart Bau Siac second in 2 minutes, 4 2-5 seconds.
