Death of W. B. Smith, L. S.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The many friends of W. B. Smith, 1st year L. S., will be pained to hear of his death at the Massachusetts General Hospital last Saturday evening. Mr. Smith contracted the prevailing "grip," which attacked a chronic weakness and necessitated an operation; the shock was too great and death resulted. Mr. Smith's brother arrived on Friday night and will take the body to Pittsburg Pa. The deceased was one of the ablest men in the first year L. S., and a member of the Langdell Law Club. During his short residence in Cambridge Mr. Smith had impressed those who came in contact with him as a man of earnest purpose and sterling character. He was twenty-four years old.
