A mass meeting has been held at Princeton to see what prospect there is of a successful University Eating Club. The meeting was largely attended and enthusiastic, and there is good hope that the 250 members necessary for the organization of the club will be soon obtained. The club will be run in much the same manner as the Harvard Dining Association, and it is expected that the saving to the members through the purchase of provisions at wholesale rates will be very considerable. The management of the club will be vested in a president, treasurer, house committee, and a board of governors composed of alumni, all to be elected by members of the club. It is hoped that an endowed building will shortly be given to the club, if it is once successfully started.
