The Yale Crew at New London

The Yale University crew and substitutes left for New London Friday afternoon, where they occupied their old quarters at Capt. Latham Brown's, at Gale's Ferry. The shells were sent up Friday morning and the launch left at the same time. The shell used by last year's University crew was taken for use as a practice boat, and also the new shell made by Waters for this year's crew, and the new freshman shell. A pair oar was also sent for the substitutes. John Rogers '87, accompanied the men as coach, and R. J. Cook '76, will join them in a day or two. The exact make-up of the crew as it will row against Harvard has not been decided upon. Gould has not yet been able to row for several days, owing to a slight illness, and Simms has been stroking the crew in his place, Balliet rowing No. 2. The list of men with their weights and order in which they will probably be as follows:
