Ninety-One vs, Ninety-Four.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The seniors and freshmen played a practice game on Jarvic Field last Saturday afternoon, which resulted in a victory for the latter by a score of seven to two.

The game was well played by both nines, the freshmen showing a great improvement over some of their recent attempts to play ball. Minton pitched for them and struck out eight men, allowing but four hits. The team batted well and got nine hits off the opposing pitcher, while their fielding was sharp and clean and their base running very fair. The make-up of the teams was as follows:

Ninety-four-Corbett, c.; Quigley, s. s.; Harding, r. f.; Lowell, 2b.; Clark, W., l. f.; Beals, c. f.; Homans, 1b.; P. Cabot, 3b.; Minton, p.

Ninety-one-Luce, 2b; Cummings, p.; Corning, 3b.; Austrian, s. s. c. f.; Guerin, c.; Simons, r. f. s. s.; Babbitt, c. f. r. f.; Bowman, l. f.; McKean, 1b.; Harris, c. f.; Washburn, r. f.

The score by innings:

Innings, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Ninety-four, 0 1 4 0 2 0 0 0 -7

Ninety-one, 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0-2
