On Thursday, April 23, the following events, open to all amateurs, will be given by the Boston Athletic Association on Irvington Oval, Boston: 100 yards run; throwing 16 lb. hammer, (7 ft. run); 1 mile run.
Events will be called at 4 p. m. Entries close with H. S. Cornish on April 20. Fee of 25 cents per man for each event, and all entries must be made out on the N. E. A. A. U., official entry blank. Blanks can be obtained at the Club House or of Mr. J. G. Lathrop, Harvard.
On Thursday, April 30, at 4 p. m., the following events, open to all amateurs will be given on the Irvington Oval: 100 yards run: 3 mile walk; 880 yards run.
Entrance fee 25 cents per man in each event. Entries close with H. S. Cornish on April 27. Entries must be made out on N. E. A. A. U. official entry blank.
All the above events are handicap, and no person will be given a mark who fails completely to fill out the blan.
