The Game Today.

The 'Varsity will open the season on Holmes Field this afternoon at 4 o'clock with Tufts. Last year Tufts won its first game with Harvard by the score of 11 to 8, and , as their nine is strong this year, the game ought to be interesting. The batting order will be: Rand, left field; Scannell, catcher; Dean, second base; Paine, centre field; Haughton, pitcher; Crawford, third base; T. J. Stevenson, first base; Burgess, right field; Wrenn, shortstop.
