The first spring shoot of the Shooting Club preparatory for the class matches and the Yale match was held yesterday afternoon. The old matches were closed and a new match A. open to all, was begun. This match will be continued for the next three shoots, the two highest scores of each man to count. The score was as follows:

Mackay, 1 0 1 1 1 0 1 1 1 1-8

Lamb, 0 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 0-8

Everett, 0 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 0-8

E. R. Williams, 0 1 1 0 1 1 0 1 1 1-7

Matches will be held every Thursday and probably every Monday. Every man who shoots is earnestly requested to attend as often as possible to practice for the class matches which come in the early part of May, and for the annual Yale match in the latter part of May. Cups for prizes are given in all matches.
