Manhattan Athletic Games.

The Manhattan Athletic Games will be held Saturday evening at 8 o'clock in Madison Square Garden. The large number of entries may, however, necessitate the holding of the preliminary heats in the afternoon. Some of the events are scratch, but in most of them there will be a small limit handicap. The proceeds will go towards paying the expenses of the team which the Manhattan club will send to England this summer. The prizes will be unusually fine, first prizes being diamond rings.

The Harvard men will go individually, not as team. Thus far the following Harvard men have entered: F. Baker '93, G. R. Fearing '93, E. B. Bloss '94, A. H. Green '92, E. S. Mullins '93, V. S. Rothschild '91, for the 70 yard dash; F. Baker '93, 220 yards; T. J. Stead '91, E. S. Mullens '93, V. S. Rothschild '91, 440; G. R. Fearing '93, 70 yard hurdle; R. S. Hale '91, mile walk; E. B. Bloss '94, A. H. Green '92, broad jump; F. F. Carr M. S., 1,000 yards; A. H. Green '92, distance pole vault (scratch event). The entries closed last Saturday evening.
