The following notice has been issued by the M. I. T. Athletic Club: "The Athletic Club will hold an invitation sparring meeting in the M. I. T. gymnasium, Exeter Street, on Saturday, March 14, 1891, at 8 p. m., open to the H. A. A. and B. A. A. Entries close Wednesday, March 11, at 1 p. m., with T. Spencer '91. The weights will be as follows: Middle weight, 158 lbs. and under; light weight, 140 lbs. and under; special weight, 125 lbs. and under; feather weight, 115 lbs. and under.
There will also be a special tug-of-war contest between the Northwestern University and Institute teams. Membeers of the B. A. A. and H. A. A. are invited to attend."
The management expect this to be a very interesting meeting, and hope that the members of the H. A. A. will accept this invitation. Harvard men will be admitted only after showing their tickets of membership to the H. A. A. It will be remembered that the Northwestern University team challenged Harvard to a pull a few months ago.
