Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
The Harvard Lawn Tennis Association has decided to hold a tournament this spring for members of all preparatory schools who care to enter men. The association wishes the men in preparatory schools to feel that Harvard men take an interest in their tennis and in their tennis men and it thinks that in no better way can it show such an interest than by holding a tournament open to all men preparing for college in the schools.
This tournament will be held either the last Saturday in April or the first Saturday in May, and valuable prizes will be offered to the winners. In this way valuable material will be developed, and the Harvard Tennis Association will doubles be more than compensated for any trouble it may put itself to. The association certainly deserves great credit for the energy it shows in holding such a tournament, and the number of entries will undoubtedly be large. Circulars will soon be sent out by the Harvard Tennis Association to all preparatory schools which would be likely to enter men.
