Conference of College Presidents.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Just one week from today there will be a conference of college presidents in Brooklyn under the auspices of the Y. M. C. A. of that city. President Low of Columbia will preside, and it is expected that a core of colleges will be represented. Unfortunately President Eliot will not be present, he has a previous similar engagement in Boston on that day. Harvard will therefore be represented by Prof. Shaler. The object of the meeting is the discussion of the subject "Education and the colleges" and each speaker is expected to defile the attitude of the institution which he represents toward the educational problems with which all the colleges have to dea. After these exercises a graduate glee cub will sing and the visiting collegian will be escorted through the building. For admittance tickets one should apply to 502 Fulton St., Brooklyn.
