Appleton Chapel.

President William J. Tucker of Dartmouth College, conducted the service in Appleton Chapel yesterday evening, in place of Rev. W. W. Fenn. He took his text from part of the 26th verse of the eighth chapter of the Epistle to the Romans: "Likewise also the spirit helpeth our infirmities."

He gave a powerful and practical explanation of the assurance of divine sympathy contained in scripture, and summarized our need of this sympathy under a classification of our infirmities.
