The freshman team met the Worcester Academy team on Norton's field Saturday afternoon, but were unable to beat them. All the scoring was done in the first half when each side scored a touch down and goal. Harvard scored in about ten minutes; then the ball went to Worcester and the Academy boys soon made the score a tie. Worcester found holes repeatedly in the line and several times the freshman backs were downed before they could stir from their tracks. Considerable gains were made around Harvard's right end which could not hold its own. The freshmen were at times sleepy, but as a whole the game went off with a good deal of snap. The make-up of the teams was as follows:

Harvard. - 1. e., Wadsworth; 1. t., Pierce; 1. g., Wardner; c., Caswell; r. g. Murchie; r. l., Teele, r. e., Adams; q. b., Whitman and Wrenn; h. b., Jackson and McNear; f. b., Raymond.

Worcester Academy. - 1. e., Waring; 1. t., Brooks; 1. g., E. Durand; c., Mitchell; r. g., A. Durand; r. t., Ware; i. e. Bunker; q. b., Allan; n. b., Cook and Denison; f. b., V. Mitchell. Referee, Mr. Foster.
