Bicycle Road Races.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Cycling Association had decided to hold no track races this fall, but there will be a good deal of road riding done.

The first paper chase will be next Thursday, Oct. 22, and the start will be from the gymnasium at 3.45 sharp. The run is open to any member of the University without entrance fee, and three of the H. U. C. A medals will be given.

On Saturday, Oct. 31, there will be a 10 mile handicap race at Chestnut Hill, starting at three o'clock, open to all members of the University. Entrance fee, 25 cents. Entries close Wednesday, Oct. 28, with the secretary at 13 Wadsworth House, or at Thurston's. Silver, bronze and white metal medals will be given.

The paper chase is intended primarily for non-racing men, and everyone that rides is urged to take part in it.

In the road race liberal handicaps will be given as usual, and new men will have a good chance of being placed. It is especially desired that riders in '95 enter this race.
