Foot Ball Yesterday.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Last night the eleven took its first meal at the training table which is at Miss Cotter's on Oxford St. Besides Captain Trafford, twelve men were given places, viz: Lake, Hallowell, Newell, Vail, Burgess, Rantoul, Gage, D. F. Shea, Emmons, Gray, Bangs and Fearing. Mr. George Adams, the coach, and Dr. Conant dined with the eleven last night.

In the practice yesterday the team showed greater snap than it has before displayed. Emmons was transferred from tackle to end where he did very well. Shea and Newell were both back at tackle. Gage played quarter back on the first eleven, while Burgess had his place on the second. Fearing was on the the field, dressed, but he will not play for several days yet.
