Change in the Evans Library.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

During the vacation the reading room of the Evans Library has been doubled in size by cutting away the greater part of the partition which separated it from the room west of it facing the yard. The Evans Library has been more used during the past term than ever before, and those who have resorted to it will be able to appreciate the change. It not only increases the space for working tables, but it improves the light wonderfully, especially during the afternoon; it affords an opportunity for better ventilation, and makes the room a really pleasant place in which to study. The system of department libraries is one of the admirable features of the University, and anything which increases its eficiency in any branch is a welcome change.
