Mr. John G. Brooks will lecture in Sever 11 tonight under the auspices of the Finance Club on "General Booth and English Poverty." Mr. Brooks is one of the instructors in Political Economy this year, and in addition to being a careful student of social subjects, is an interesting and attractive speaker. He will discuss the Salvation Army scheme for abolishing poverty in England, about which there has been so much talk in England and in this country. We hope that, notwithstanding the pressure of the examinations, he will have a large audience.
