Acorn Athletic Games.

The annual spring games of the Acorn Athletic Association will be held in South Brooklyn, N. Y. on June 14th street and Second Avenue. The events, which are open to all amateurs, are as follows: handicap runs of 75 yards, 220 yards, 880 yards, one mile, and novice runs of 440 and 880 yards for those who have never won a prize in open competition. There are also thre more handicap events, two mile walk, running high jump and putting 16 lb. shot. The handicapping will be done by E. C. Carter. Prizes of silver were to firsts, seconds and thirds. The entrance fee of fifty cents for each event must be sent with entries to S. J. Campbell, sec'y, before June 8th. Rules of the A. A. U. to govern the events. The right to reject entries is reserved. Prizes will be on exhibition at A. G. Spaulding and Bros., 241 Broadway, N. Y. City.
