Downs-Dohm Race.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Arrangements have been made for a straight-away quarter mile match race between W. C. Downs of Harvard and W. C. Dohm of Princeton. The direct object of the race is to attempt to break the world's record of 47 3-4 secnow held by Wendell Baker '86. The place of the race is not yet determined, but it will take place either at Beacon Park or Mystic Park or some other straight-away course. Detailed arrangements will be made by the N. Y. A. C., who will offer a prize for the winner.

Dohm has been unwell since the intercollegiate games, but as soon as he recovers the race will take place. This will probably before Commencement.
