REPORT OF TREASURER.

Following is the report of the Harvard Rowing Club for the season ending Oct. 1, 1890:

RECEIPTS.

The following amendments to the constitution in regard to the office of treasurer have just been adopted:

Art. III. Sec. 1. The treasurer shall be appointed by the graduate treasurer upon the nomination of the governing board.

Sec. 2. The Graduate treasurer shall have authority to request the resignation of the treasurer at any time which shall seem to him advisable.

Sec. 4. The treasurer shall make and authorize all necessary contracts and purchases, but he shall spend no money nor incur any liability except with the approval of the graduate treasurer.

The graduate treasurer, however, shall have power to authorize the treasurer to make purchases or incur indebtedness to a limited extent without such approval if in the opinion of the graduate treasurer it shall seem expedient.

Sec. 5. The treasurer shall turn over all money received to the graduate treasurer. The treasurer may be authorized to keep in hand any sum which the graduate treasurer may think necessary in order to meet immediate expenses. The graduate treasurer shall hold all money so received for the benefit of the club; any interest which may occur thereon may be appropiated by the graduate treasurer for any athletic purpose he may deem advisable.

Art. V. Sec. 2. They (the governing board) shall have authority to advise the treasurer of necessary contracts and purchases.

The treasures shall be ex-officio a member of the executive committee.
