It has been requested that attention be called to the exceptional interest that attaches to the personality of Dr. Julius Goebel, the speaker at the public meeting of the Deutscher Verein this evening. Dr. Goebel, formerly lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, is now editor of the Belletristische Journal, the leading German literary periodical in this country.
