Seats at the Berkeley Oval.

The following letter has been received by J. H. Hunt, '92, secretary of the H. A. A. A blue book will be left at Leavitt and Peirce's, and all men wishing to sign for seats must do so before 10.30 Saturday evening. It is most important that Harvard should have as many supporters as possible at the intercollegiate games.

New York, April 18, 1890.

Dear Sir:-

As the reserved seats for the Intercollegiate meeting on the Berkeley Oval, May 31st, will be on sale next Monday, and as there promises to be an unprecedented demand for them, I write to ask you how many seats you would like to have reserved for your association or college? The price of reserved seats will be $1.50.

The incention is to seat the friends of each college together, for the purpose of massing the college colors and concentrating the cheering, as an encouragement to the respective contestants. This proved the most effective plan at the Thanksgiving Day game between Yale and Princeton.

Yours very truly,

Thomas Butler, Supt. Berkeley Oval.
