The Harvard Exrvard Club, in conjunction with the New England Association of the alumni of Phillips Exeter Academy, held a successful dinner last evening at the Parker House. Over one hundred men sat down, the Harvard Club delegation numbering about thirty. At the business meeting, Rev. Edward Hale was elected president for the next year. Mr. George S. Hale was toast-master. Nearly all the speakers mentioned of the necessity of a new principal and of better accommodation for the students at Exeter. The speakers were: Dr. Wildes, president of the New York Alumni, R. R. Endicott, '90, Mr. T. F. Wentworth of New York, G. T. Goldthwaite, '91, G. A. Wentworth, Prof. Jeremiah Smith of the Law School, Mr. Sherman Hoar, and Rev. Edward Hale.
