The work on the Princeton cage has advanced considerably during the mild weather of the last few days and the walls are now finished. The contract for the roof specifies the 25th of February for its completion. There has been a considerable delay in procuring material, but the entire building will probably be finished within the prescribed time as the roof is to be begun immediately.
The cage is to be large enough to contain a running track of fifteen laps to the mile, besides leaving room for throwing, batting and running to bases. The building will undoubtedly be the finest of its kind in the country, and the teams are expected to derive a great benefit from the superior advantages that it will afford.
