At a meeting of the National Lawn Tennis association in New York last Friday, officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President, Joseph S. Clark; vice-president. H. W. Slocum, Jr.; secretary, V. G. Hall; treasurer, Howard A. Taylor. The Wright and Ditson ball was again adopted for championship matches. It was voted that the championship match in singles shall be played at Newport, and the doubles at Staten Island. The rule which provided that upon appeal to the referee in the final set of a match the players might change courts each game, was changed to read that upon appeal to the referee the players should change courts after the first, third, fifth, and each succeeding alternate game until the completion of the set.
