The Faculty, at their meeting yesterday afternoon, refused to grant the petition asking for a change in the date of registration after the Christmas vacation from Saturday to Monday. Ten hundred and thirteen men signed the petition. No reason is given for the action of the faculty, and it is understood to have been far from unanimous.
