That Mrs. Carter's entrance into the dramatic profession is well known was evident from the reception given at her first appearance last evening. Mrs. Carter has been before the public as a professional actress only a short time yet she has proved that she has the ability of making a dramatic star. In New York she was received with great favor, being compared with Clara Morris, Mrs. Langtry and Bernhardt. She is supported by one of the strongest dramatic companies seen in Boston for some time.
