The annual H. U. C. A. fall handicap road race will be run this afternoon over the Chestnut Hill course. The distance is 10 miles, just 100 yards short of nine laps.
Sixteen men have entered for the race. The handicaps have been unusually carefully arranged and the race cannot but prove close and exciting. Those desiring to witness the start and finish can take the electric car from Barry's Corners which is just across the Boylston Bridge-a few minutes' walk from Harvard Square.
The race will be started at 3 p. m. sharp, and will probably be won in 42 minutes, or 34 from scratch.
The following men have entered:
R. H. Davis '91, G. F. Taylor '92, W. B. Greenleaf '92, scratch; O. B. Hawes '93, (2 min.); Philip Davis '93, (2 20 sec.) Tom. Barron '91, (3 min.); F. S. Olmstead '94, (3 min. 30 sec.); P. H.
