Hong Yen Chang, the first Chinese lawyer, was admitted to the bar at Poughkeepsie, N. Y., last Thursday. He came to this country in 1872, and studied at Yale and the Columbia law schools.

The following resolution was unanimously passed by the Omaha Harvard Club, and it was voted that a copy of the same be published in the CRIMSON:-

"Resolved, By the Omaha Harvard Club composed of about twenty-five alumni, ranging from the class of '46 to the class of '87, that the sense of this club is, that it is for the best interests of Harvard University, that intercollegiate athletic contests should not be abolished nor further restricted."
