The Guitar and Mandolin Club had a trial for candidates last evening in 10 Holworthy. The following tried for mandolins: Weisman, '91, B. Wells, '94, C. Schurz, '93, F. E. Lott, Sp. For guitars, W. E. Kent, '93, L. Frazer, Sp. D. B. Hempstead, L. S. For zither, W. P. Anderson, '92. The successful candidates will be notified in a few days. Another trial will be held next Friday for those who could not come last evening.
