The college committee which has been soliciting subscription in the university, since the term began, for the new library reading room has finished the bulk of its work, and this morning will send circular letters to all the alumni, stating the amount raised in the college and asking for graduate subscriptions. According to this circular, 789 men have already contributed $3,530, or $4,40 per man.
