There was a well attended meeting of the freshman class in Lower Massa chusetts last evening. S. V. R. Crosby '91, opened the meeting by speaking strongly on football, and showed the class that the lack of interest they had shown would be disastrous.
He was followed by J. H. Morse, L. 8., who spoke in behalf of Captain Cumnock who was not able to be present. He said that the men in Ninety-four must show enough enthusiasm to put a winng team in the field to follow the example set by every freshman eleven since'86 in defeating Yale.
?? G. T. Goldthwaite '91, also spoke, calling attention to the fact that not enough men went out to form two freshman elevens.
