During the last fortnight work on the new boat house has progressed rapidly. The building has been covered over for quite a while, and the doors and windows have all been put in. On the lower floor the partition walls are being completed. The large hall to be used for storing boats is almost finished, and work has been commenced on the stairway leading to the second floor. The large platform on the lower floor is already finished. The two large doors opening from the hall upon the platform have been put in place. Above this platform there is a large balcony, overlooking the river; this balcony has also been completed, barring a few finishing touches to the railing. The builders are pushing ahead and the boat house will probably be ready for use by the end of February.
