Work on the new athletic building has progressed rapidly during the Christmas recess. The roof is entirely boarded saye the openings in the main roof and the cage which have been left for windows, while the roof covering the tank and the north side are slated. The masons have nearly finished laying the brick in the tank, and are also engaged on the fire-place at the entrance. The boiler has arrived and will be soon placed in position. The outside work is now so nearly completed that bad weather will not hinder much in the construction.
