"The City Directory," which had its first representation at the Tremont last night, is a farce, pure and simple. It pretends to be nothing more, but for its kind is excellent. The principal roles are acceptably filled by Charles Reed, John Jennings, Marguerite Fish, and other tolerably clever comedians.
