The Yale Glee club concert Monday evening opened the annual mid-year week of gaiety. According to the old custom the freshmen tried to display their class numerals, and after the first half of the concert lowered a large transparency bearing the number '93 squarely over the centre of the stage. After the concert the sophomores, greatly enraged at the audacity of the freshmen, seized the transparency and pulled it down. A rush followed in which the police interfered and arrested several of the students.
