8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
At a mass meeting of the Yale freshman class, Tuesday evening, action was taken on athletic constitution recently adopted by Harvard, '92. The rules proposed for the government of Harvard-Yale freshmen baseball and football games, and letters from Mr. Garrison, L. S., and Mr. Folansbee, secretary of Harvard, '92, urging their adoption, were submitted. After discussion the matter was placed in the hands of a committee composed of the captains of the university nine, eleven and crew, and two members of the freshman class. The class is heartily in favor of some arrangement which shall do away with the annual disagreements, but an opinion prevailed among the members of the class that, having completed their series with Harvard, '92, they could not fairly bind future classes. The question was referred to the officers of the university clubs, as stated above, and will be settled by them. An effort will be made to bring the committee together this term.
