The annual election of the Yale Appollo Glee and Banjo clubs was held last Friday evening and the following officers were chosen for next year: President, R. T. Perry, of New Haven; manager, A. E. Jenks, of Boston; treasurer, C. H. Haskell, of Norwich. The clubs have severed their connection with the university glee club, and next year will start out on an independent basis. They have already made arrangements for a Christmas trip, when they will visit several southern cities. The trip will be made in a special Pullman car, now in progress of construction for them. The car will be named the "Apollo" and will be fitted up in Yale blue. The clubs have already received letters from several of the cities they intend to visit assuring them of a warm reception.
