The preliminary trial of candidates for the Boylston Prize in oratory occurred yesterday morning in Sanders theatre. About thirty men presented themselves and the following list was selected to compete in the final trial: Bigelow, Dubois, Brenten, Wicks, C. M. Thayer, Monro, Cary, Luck, Darling, Adler, Warren, Morgan, Woodbury. The final trial will take place next Thursday.
