Next Tuesday evening a meeting will be held in Holden Chapel by those students in the university who are interested in German for the purpose of discussing what may be the best method of obtaining money to furnish the new German library.

Mr. Villard of New York has given five hundred dollars, to which it is proposed to add as much as possible by contribution from the students. This library is at present considered absolutely necessary by the German department. The meeting will be called to order by C. Hunneman '89.
