President Hall's official announcement of the next year's work at Clark University has just been issued and among other interesting particulars he states that there will be instruction in these departments: Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and psychology, with such additional facilities for the study of languages as scientific students may require. No distinctive undergraduate classes will be formed, and no candidate for lower college classes will be received at first. While not declining to confer the degree of A. B., the university will for the present give special attention to qualifying for higher degrees.
Ten fellowships of the first class of $400 each; ten fellowships of the second class of $200 each, and ten scholarships with free tuition have been provided. The rate of tuition has been fixed at $200 a year, exclusive of laboratory fee. Applications can now be received.
