Two Articles in Scribner's Magazine.

The May number of Scribner's Magazine contains two articles which will be read with interest by many Harvard undergraduates.

The first is entitled "Photography," and is from the pen of Professor John Trowbridge, director of the Jefferson Physical Laboratory. It treats of the growth of photography and its more recent applications to scientific study. The article is illustrated from negatives by the author and others.

The second is by Professor Charles Eliot Norton, of the department of Fine Arts, and is on "The Lack of Old Homes in America" It discusses at length the reasons why one so rarely meets with homesteads in this country.
