The matter of the new boat house was brought up and it was decided that it would be advisable for the Canoe Club to build an addition for their own use, as by so doing they would secure the privileges of the boat house. A committee consisting of Messrs Crowninshield, Cheney and Townsend was appointed to confer with Professor Agassiz who has immediate control of the plan in order to find out under what conditions the addition could be built. and what privileges the members would secure.
