Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
At a meeting of the candidates for the freshman nine held Saturday, C. W. Cady resigned his position as captain. A meeting was held last evening for the purpose of electing a man to fill the vacant position. J. S. Brown of Newport, R. I. was chosen. The resignation of Cady coming as it does just as the season is getting well under way is likely to prove a set back to the nine. The candidates have been under his supervision for the past few weeks and he had become well acquainted with their strong and weak points. Brown played with the 'varsity nine a game or two in the early part of the season. He will probably play at third. The makeup up of the rest of nine will be decided as soon as possible. At present there are about fifteen candidates but this number will be made much smaller within the next week or two. As many good practice games as possible will be played, and every effort will be made by the captain and management to put a strong team into the field.
