The candidates for the Mott Haven team are working faithfully and on the whole satisfactorily. The men are out every fine day from 12 till 1, under the personal supervision Captain Mandell and Mr. Lathrop and have commenced regular training. There is no tug-of-war team at present. Captain Mandell will endeavor to have the rules governing the tug-of-war revised with a view to making them more definite as to what is allowed and what is not. The spring meeting will come either on April 27 or May 4.
