The fourth annual meeting of the New England clubs was held on Friday at the United States Hotel. Nineteen clubs were represented. At the business meeting, Mr. Mansfield (Longwood), moved and Mr. Balch (Harvard), seconded, the following, viz: "The side which goes in second shall follow their innings, if they have scored forty per cent. less runs than their opponents should be substituted in the case of one day matches for Law I, which says, "The side that goes in second shall follow on if they are sixty runs behind." After a good deal of debate, the motion was carried. The following fixtures were arranged for Harvard:

May 4-vs. Lawrence at Lawrence.

May 11-vs. Fall River at Fall River.

May 18-vs. Longwood at Longwood.

May 23-vs. Brockton at Brockton.

June 1-vs. Mystic at Medford.

Oct. 5-vs. Longwood at Cambridge or at Longwood.

Oct. 12-vs Pawtucket at Pawtucket.

Oct. 19-vs. Lowell at Lowell.

Afternoon matches were also arranged with Somerville and Cambridge clubs, but the dates were left unsettled.
