The fifth concert by the Boston Symphony Orchestra will be given in Sanders Theatre at 7.45 this evening. This is the last concert of the series and will, doubtless, be well attended. Mr. Wilhelm Gericke will be the conductor. The reputation which the orchestra has gained, and the high character of the concerts already given in Cambridge are a sufficient recommendation for any one at all musically inclined, to attend the concert this evening. Appended is the programme:
Overture, "Freischuetz," Weber; Scotch Fantasie for violin, Bruch; Unfinished Symphony, Schubert; Allegretto and Finale from the Eighth Symphony, Beethoven. Mr. C. M. Loeffler will be the soloist.
